Well this senior group was 7-2 as Freshmen.  Beat Riverdale in a bowl game.

How many of those kids have quit? Lost eligibility? Etc.? Beating Riverdale as freshman isn’t much to measure by. Of that same group of freshman at Riverdale, only two are playing varsity right now.

Rumblings I hear, it’s beginning to sound like a witch hunt. Everyone was quiet after beating Hillsboro, but now we’re back to it being coaches fault in Gallatin again.

Yeah. You can usually tell alot by what these kids did in Jr. High/Freshman but it isn't always that way. I would add Lebanon and McGavock in there as well. I know some of those really bad Lebanon teams from a few years ago featured classes that beat the pants off everybody in Jr. High. But many of those kids either moved or played private etc. The same with McGavock the team they have this year beat everybody as Freshmen.

Beating Hillsboro didn't change my mind. If we win 6-5A this year it wont change my mind either. I'll pull for wins every Friday, though.

Which is precisely why you can’t judge solely on what you have coming up in middle school or on a freshman team.

Mt Juliet was just a better team than Gallatin howbeit Gallatin helped them quite a bit.  Turnovers and mistakes at the worst times.  But I do not think most people had this as a win from the season’s beginning.  I think they have a shot at 6-4 realistically.

Ok well i was waiting for someone to annoy me enough to come out of hibernation...well here i am. Gwave, explain to me how Gallatin stood a chance last night, without turnovers, shanked punts etc..... they never did. Thats two beat downs in row and a win streak of 3 in a row. Your teamed gained 52 of their 78 yards on one play on the first drive, The stifling MJ D continuously gave the Gallatin O problems, they had 3 first downs the whole game. take away a shanked punt that led to great field position, and a few turnovers.... we beat you by 35+ lol.... its ok to admit a beat down to a MUCH better team.

Also you were quoted saying Gallatin had the potential to keep this game close throughout the past week... this Mj team vs that Gallatin team, never in a million years.

time to start giving credit to an Mj team that has Gallatins number here lately. Good day.

And you still won't make it out of the second round. Go crawl back in your hole for another year.

Also Gwave here is a notable statistic, since no one probably wants to acknowledge it, in the past three games Gallatin has played MJ, The MJ Defense has allowed just 9 points.

Here is another notable statistic. You are a straight up coward. Punk move to run like a little sissy after the playoff loss. You have lost all cred on these boards with everyone.

    • Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.
    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
