Didn't he get surpassed the following day for the all-time single rushing record. Wasn't both set during Blue Cross Bowl championship games?

I think Croppy said Jacob Warbritton still holds state rushing record as a QB. He held all time rushing overall until Jalen Hurd broke it that same weekend. Yes, they both set the records in the championship games.

Jacob Warbritton of Huntingdon broke the all-time single season rushing record and still holds the all-time single season rushing record for a QB and didn't win it.  That's like Peyton Manning not winning the heisman. This award is a popularity contest.

What year did Warbritton break those records?

Don't think Pearson or Insley can be compared with either Warbritton. The Warbrittons did against alot tougher competition.

Both Warbritton boys and Pearson are my favorites after 13 years of mustang football!! The part of better competition is up for debate ... So we don’t play West Carroll and Martin, but do play Waverly!!

The TSSAA site doesn't have Warbritton listed?

I understand.  But I was trying to remember if that was the same weekend at the championship games this all played out.

Man we've been blessed to have the opportunity to watch these young men play the game. Don't forget Dylan Johnson mixed in there. You talk about a run of great quarterbacks. That's 5 QB's in succession that will match up with anybody.

Kicker has only missed 1 PAT this yr plus a 45+ yard fg. He is having a great season!

Riverside has two kickers. The first one does extra points n is 15-15. The other kicker has kicked 90 percent of kickoffs for touch backs and has three 40 plus yarders this year that would b good from 50
