You are almost correct. This is the 11th anniversary. In 2008 Coach Bowling had taken the reigns from Coach Fischell and he has never lost to Gleason. I was at that once in a lifetime victory for the Bulldogs. It was also the loss that forced the former coach out and brought in Bowling. Thanks for the memory.

Kinda like the Bledsoe injury that brought Tom Brady in for the patriots

Honestly don’t know enough about UC to talk much.   GC has been winning games by playing hard nosed physical defense and marking a few plays on offense.  Lamberson is tough if he gets in open field.  Rico will grind on you all night and bust one every now and then.   But we hang out hat on defense.   From what I’m told UC best offense is their Fullback.  What about it?

The only common opponent is Peabody so it's hard to tell anything off of that.

Union City's overall opponent record is 28-4, 3 of those losses by TCA. They've faced 3 teams this year who are currently undefeated (Mayfield 7-0, South Side 7-0, Penns Grove 5-0).

If Gibson wins this game over Union City, they will be 4-0 in the region with a tie breaker over Peabody, and Peabody/TCA still having to play each other. Gibson still has TCA and McKenzie left to play to finish out the region games. If Gibson can win this game over Union City, and Peabody defeats TCA as expected, I would say Gibson will take the region championship barring any major upset by McKenzie in week 10.

As for the Memphis region, it looks like Fairley is going to be the 1 seed, Mitchell the 2 seed, MAHS and Manassas at 3 and 4.

Obviously, crazy things have happened this season... It might be too early to start putting all of the possible playoff scenario's together, but it is interesting to look at.

Getting a tad bit ahead of yourself.

    • Yeah. AC brass walked in to the building at Clinton and suggested that the principal start changing grades.  Honesty, the notion that anybody at AC was involved is just idiocy.  The ones who are hurt most are the kids who weren't involved in the cheating, but still are being penalized by college admission decisions and scholarship consideration simply because they went to a school that was involved in such a scandal.
    • I heard it was ugly.  Coach Harig and the Redskins demolished what is left of the Dragon Wagon.  At this point, it is not certain that Clinton will even be able to field a football team for 2024.  No way the coach keeps his job, transfers gone, nothing left.  Back to the stone ages for the Dragoons.
    • Not even close, changing over 1000 grades?  Head coach changing grades to keep players on the field?  Not the same.  They will give Lieutenant Flip Flops the "Opportunity to resign"  right after graduation if not before.     Negative, the juvenile court judge blew the whistle.  Clinton admin, teachers and coaches started this fire.  Been going on for 4 years now according to Jones, one of the teachers that was fired.  This is truly pathetic.   The Dragon Wagon is #### up in the ditch down on highway 61 down there near The Spur.  Reap what you sew.
    • What ever happened to the #93 rb that came in and did well last year when yalls RBs we’re going down?
    • Going to be a rough season for coach Egghead and the hawks. Everyone picking the under
