The Hickman County game does create a short turnaround and recovery time to prep for Friday. The thing is, this time of year, the guys are about over going at each other in practice every day, might as well play a game. If the first-teamers do what they are capable of doing tonight it will be alot of young guys playing the second half.

As long as Coach has been comfortable working on CA in practice last week and even the week before (Community week) - playing tonight shouldn't be a problem other than giving CA's coaches a chance to scout a live game.

An opinion from the Region 5 side.

CA and Lewis County are better than the 2017 versions; Eagleville and Forrest are not as good as they were last season.  Not sure how the injury bug will affect CA the rest of the season.

I'm ready to tee the playoffs up. Hope the weather holds up.

Sounds just like 2017 in here again!

Nope, not at all,I have no skin in the game just input,Waverly is Senior loaded,Riverside is built on D,CA is a great D but with all this injuries will struggle to score! Lewis is good not great and doesnt have a team dynamic enough to compete with Wavely and Riverside would beat them in a 17/10 type game!!! 2017 I thought Waverly could possibly go in over confident and imo they did !! This year is this talented groups at Waverlys last year to touch Gold !!! Only time will tell !!! Good look to all 5 and 6 on a healthy rest of the season!!!

Welcome to Riverside for a rematch of last year. Hope the weather holds up.

Shouldn't matter... if Eagleville is counting on Riverside to be a slightly better version of last year, they are in for a rude awakening. Offense is just that, but defense is on a whole 'nother level.

Riverside defense is great against the run but does have holes against a passing team but I think Waverly and Riverside will meet again in the 3rd round
