Bingo.

Bingo is about the only thing y'all could have beaten Peabody in Friday night. I played in 3 losses in my high school career worst being 14-6. I still remember the 6 o'clock Saturday practices after those loses. Brutal!  There's nothing wrong with losing. Peabody is a better team than Trinity. But there is no excuse for quiting which is what the Lions did Friday night.

My dearest TCA, as heartbreaking as this loss is I'd just like to let you know life goes on. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Try and shake off this loss and build from it as in reality this game of football is just a stepping stone for many who go through life. One day your child may be present in a win or defeat just as you have been given how you respond is what matters in the end it's just a game. We support you.  You mean everything to us ( your loyal fans, moms and dads, sisters and brothers, grandmothers and grandfathers put name here. ) this is how teams would like to be supported btw. Coaches job to jump their but etc. Everyone else is there for support.

                                                 Amen!

I think the best thing for all you TCA guys on here would to be ignore the side comments and move on. Us Peabody fans had to do the same when we lost to GC. Like 20 people stayed on there looking for a fight lol. Now we are back to the normal two posters from GC.

Man we have. We are going up to practice today and give all the kids 20 lashes for the embarrassment on the field last Friday.  Hahahahababbaha

You know it almost seems like their season goal was to beat Peabody and quit

Man you think I wouldn't be on Huntingdon just as bad if we had played a game like that. I'm just commenting on a game I observed. I don't comment on teams I haven't seen. I've always thought that when you walk onto that football field you better be ready to play. Huntingdon always gets a teams best game. Everybody hates us except our fans and that's the way we like it.

    • Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.
    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
    • The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..
    • I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
    • Going to grundle Troy Fleming?
