If they (Mitchell) were adimate, then who your people talked to at Mitchell may not have been informed of the change at the time of the call this morning. I have no clue how these things work.

I also have no clue what kind of condition the Oakhaven field is in. These same fields that are shared by the high schools are also shared with the middle schools AND the local pee wee leagues use them as well. I remember going to pee wee football games at Oakhaven several years ago. Those were ALL DAY affairs. The field is usually tore up towards the end of the season due to wear. I hope that is not the case for your game.

At this point it is what it is. I have seen a picture of the field. Whatever the condition of the field, it will effect both teams equally. I simply pray for a cleanly played, hard faught game, with no injuries to players from either team. Hoping for travel mercies for both schools and their team representatives and fans

Crump is one of the better fields to play on in Memphis, so GC got the good end of the stick on that matter. One thing playing on the turf that could hurt them is the speed factor that Fairley brings, which GC has Lamberson and a few other guys that can run it a little bit. I will say this some Memphis schools (not all) are undisciplined so GC may be able to pull out some of them trick plays that boosts their play up, especially late in the game. This will definitely be a game to look at out for.
