Why would they not offer up Citizens Bank Stadium at Elizabethton for this game. Elizabethton is on the road to AC. I'm sure it's easier to use HV, since they are both Carter County schools, but E-Town has that nice rug right close to restaurants. I bet Coalfield eats in Johnson City. If something like this happened down our way I could see Maryville letting the teams use their field.

Happy Valley's stadium is actually only about 5 minutes from Elizabethton' s stadium.  People can still eat in Elizabethton and be less than 5 minutes from HV's stadium. Elizabethton does have a nice artificial turf but Happy Valley's bermuda grass turf is as good as it comes when talking about natural grass. I think Coalfield will be more than satisfied with Happy Valley's  field.

At least Coalbucket didn’t calli dobbins Bennett and the TSSAA and try to get it moved without your knowledge like the rich pr#$%$ at Columbia Academy did to us a few years ago. They said our facility wasn’t up to their standards.

Yeah that was pretty sad. Glad you knocked a knot on that head.

I know where Happy Valley is. Everybody misses the point. Not putting down Happy Valley. It was more a reflection on E-Town, not HV.

PS: They will spend their food money in Johnson City.

    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.    Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
