Stanfield is a beast with the quick read,they will have success in the pass game,pass at will though? I dont think so !!

Its do or die time. One team is going to State the other is going home. When Waverly spreads the field on ya and 45 slips through the line Im going to say told ya so. When Waverly spreads the field and #11 and #37 show out Im going to say told ya so. This game WILL be a shootout!! Peabody should be able to score also so Im not here to say that we are going to shut yall down but I do think we stop yall more than yall stop us.

If its not there the kid will pull it and run. We have have so many threats on offense it rediculous. Yalls running game is going to be really hard to stop. I think its going to be a high score game for both.

I think the shootout type game is Waverly's best chance to win this one. I expect McConnell to open it back up after obviously reigning the offense in and playing ball control as of late.

I guess it depends on what our coach decides to do. We could pound the ball and control the clock or try to score fast. We may try to hold the ball.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
