Texas- 1,305 schools with football/ 10 State Titles awarded

Tennessee- 343 schools with football/ 9 State Titles awarded

I thought the amount of schools per championship was interesting.

TSSAA doesn't lead, they follow. The Board of Control seems to concentrate power to a few. I wish major changes were by referendum of all AD's. Sometimes lame duck BOC members pass special legislation on their way out.

So In TX there is one state champion for every 130 teams but in TN there is one champion for every 38 teams.
