This game will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes, PERIOD!   This will be the first time all season Oakland has walked on the field and didn't have more talent than the team on the other side of the line of scrimmage.  Whitehaven has a ton of next level talent, just like Oakland has.  

Penalties and Turnovers will decide this game!   Coaching and talent will not.   Who is better prepared?   That will decide this one.   You're dealing with 15-18 year old kids and you never know week to week what your gonna get.  

For those of you saying Whitehaven will get outcoached:   Please listen to this interview I had with Rodney Saulsberry back in October and let me know if you still fill that way.   Coach Harman has been with Coach Saulsberry since High School.    Those guys know football!  I call the staff assessment even!  Here is the interview I had with Coach Saulsberry.  His interview is at the 50 minute mark of this show if you'd like to skip ahead:

Coach HARMON is the secret sauce imho. His dedication for defense from the Middle school program, to the 9th grade team, to the JV and of course Varsity is the difference that I WISH the OC could emulate with the JV at least. Maybe some things have changed since I was there but I KNOW what it was when I was around.

His name is Tyler Hunter. He is Dr. Hunter's youngest son. (Dr. Hunter is the head principal at Whitehaven) Tyler has been playing on varsity since he was a freshman. As a freshman he was a 5'-10", 21

This is to Will S. From Franklin Tn. The bum that sent that disrespectful email to Dr. Hunter disrespecting everyone in whitehaven, especially the band of all people!!! This clown says our band plays of all things, the national anthem worse than 3rd grades! Our fans are some the worst he has seen. And our coaches teach our players no discipline and this was the worst thing he has witnessed at a football game!!! He happened to be in town for family and came to the game!!! I'm pretty sure he was upset that Ravenwood lost the way they did, but to disrespect a whole community that I'm sure you've never been to says alot about this bum!!! Dr. Read the email at the send off rally in the gym today. Sending a email like that after some one you wanted to win actually loses is what you call classless my friend!!! Get a life quick!!! Yes we were upset they ejected our guy. Anyone would be upset to lose a starter for the championship game!!! But we know what it is....hey bum, you're mad but we are in the ship, go choke yourself!!!! Smh....

When I spoke to Coach Saulsberry, I think Vincent was still playing QB.   Was he also playing QB last week or has the normal starter returned to the lineup?   Will Keyshawn Harris play QB for you guys tomorrow?   Thanks.

Obviously, a Ravenwood fan, not an Oakland fan.

Not something we Oakland folks tend to do or say.

That's a ridiculous thing to send to an administrator. What a completely classless thing to do! If Whitehaven beat your team, tip your cap, and head to the house. No need for trying to discredit another community for their football team having beaten yours!!

Vincent was playing safety he got ejected....keyshawn took over the starting QB roll against Gtown in the playoffs...Harris is the QB

      Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.

      What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.

      Athletics is just a piece. It can help them academically, socially and add confidence. I was still 17 when I finished my first quarter at UT. I was the last to get my driver's license. It's not always just for athletics.
