Will Maryville play their JV or their Freshman team against the Cherokees on Friday night? One of my buddies sent me a picture of Tee running the ball he has gotten huge! Freaking monster! I hope Hunt keeps him on the sidelines he might actually kill one of our little fellas if they try and tackle him.

I would guess the starters will play 3 or 4 snaps.

Heard Catlic's coach Mathus in sports talk  ... tonight  .  He said Maryville sought another game .. said they knew we were pretty good .. he is such a jerk ... no class  . He also in a Thursday night game got interviewed on TV  3 years ago when they played Fulton said that they had better team .. Fulton went on to thrash them that night .. he is just a cocky something

Catholic is good no doubt. The problem is there are a few grownups there that would sell their soul to the devil to bring in some of the best players on the free agent market. Those grownups wouldn't be having anything to do with Catholic if they were still located on Magnolia Avenue and playing at old nasty Evans-Collins Field.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
