How far outside?

I believe FME was referring to the Stewart's Creek job.

As for Jackson coming back, I agree that he would be a good one. He is like some others that I can think of, does he want to be a HC or is he at the level he wants to be?

I am talking in general. Clint needs to do his superintendent job and stay out of the pressbox. Period.

I get what you saying if coach satt wants to coach again then he should if not then he should just stick to being a director. If he is asked to help with the team im all for it I think his helping with the team help the team best Watertown and Meigs.

Wow! Not a bad gig, shouldn't be hard to find a quality replacement for that kind of cash. What else goes with HC? Teaching, administration?

One of the two you have to either teach or be an administrator to be a paid coach.

My sources say he does. I am afraid he will not settle for 2A after tasting success in 6A.

GWAVE 1, I am beginning to see how clueless you truly are. You did have me fooled for awhile. Not too many happy people at meet and greet for your guy. GHS is a sad state of affairs these days, really not very successful athletically or academically. Got to be killing those old school Wave fans! I do hope your coach can turn it around but lots of things working against it.

GO JACKETS and WAVE!

Shows how out of touch you are sir.

No facial hair- now two on staff have a beard

Becker not behind the program-Quoted as saying the football program is the front porch of the school

There will be no new staff-Watson currently assembling a new staff, said so on interview

Bad hire that no one likes-More excitement in the program than there has been in years

Nobody would transfer to Gallatin- already have a recent All region linebacker transfer in

you sir are highly incorrect!!

All of that is well and good but none of it will help the wave win a gold ball or even a silver ball.

    • Understand the young thing.  I was one of those.  Barely 17 when I graduated from high school and started college.  But redshirting for athletic purposes isn't doing them any favors, in my opinion.  Life isn't always going to be fair.

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say they have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
