Don't think anyone accused MJ of being in the running for a title, not this year at least

Until next year..... Good thing theres a great batch of teams in 5a and 6a to prove their worth and make either of our cases strong. If the East is as dominant as you preach. Then 5a and 6a should both be won by East teams. Oakland, Whitehaven, Beech, Gallatin, and Henry County might think otherwise.

I’m only referring to you and your Overrated Knox teams comment. Nothing more. No reason to be salty that your Bears are essentially in the same boat as my Falcons. No chance of being State Champs this year in either of our classifications. All those teams you mentioned I know are very good to great football teams. Unfortunately neither of our teams are. Just know that we do play pretty good football out this way as well. Maybe next year for both of us!

Oak Ridge started slow but that was then and this is now. Oak Ridge has a history of 76 years of lining up and more than holding their own. Doubt their talent, getting warm. Doubt their heart, be careful I see smoke. Doubt their Pride, you are getting warmer. Doubt their Coaching, warmer still. Doubt the Oak Ridge Community Wildcat fans / WildBand / Dance Cats / Cheerleaders / Wildcat Student Cheering Section, BOOM! You just fell into the Volcano Mount Gaddis and burned yourself to a crisp. Just a friendly warning.
bounder
Mt. Juliet wasn't prepared or never expected Oak Ridge to use the option, triple or otherwise. In the second half both the OR running and passing game could do no wrong. Both teams had a couple of mistakes, intercepted passes and blocked kicks but it was a great game to watch, back and forth all game long. Just glad we won!! Made the 2 1/2 hour drive home a lot easier! MJ fans were a class act, very friendly. Enjoyed talking with the "Cooks" over by the field house, weight room. oridgecat
MJ overlooked a meaty-okra OR team. OR spotted MJ 14 quick points and then woke up and outplayed them the rest of the night. I thought MJ had the bigger, faster, stronger, deeper team but OR played harder and executed better.

TOM4000Patriots
Houston has 2 guys that are pretty good. They need to keep them healthy to compete.
