Yup, with Maryville High school just 5 minutes away from Alcoa High school......and Alcoa getting ALL the area talent must make it really hard for Maryville to win?:lol:

 In one small area you have Greenback,  Alcoa & Maryville competing for State Championships.  Maybe best you, look at the Communities and how active the feeder football programs are? B)

I'm 100% sure, that's where you'll find the heart of these programs success. :thumb:

Note several changes: Alcoa is not receiving all the 1st place votes following their loss to Maryville. Covington, PC and Red Bank all got 1st place votes this week.

This poll is after the Week 5 games were played. The voters were evidently convinced by Alcoa's last game that they remain the top team, as they got all but one first place vote this week.

In my opinion S Gibson is too low. I would have them in the 5-6 area.

I’m glad I don’t have to vote. I don’t get a chance to see the Middle & East TN teams play until the playoffs. 

Don’t worry this is not college football. We actually have a playoff system where an actual champ is decided on the field. (I know that you know that, just stirring the pot a little)
