Cobbled the Unicoi game also, totally dominate the game and they were still in it in the 4th quarter. HV was for sure tougher but without all the drive killers and enhancers, could have easily won. Just got to clean it up or you lose several winnable games.

I totally agree and understand how a team loses a game like you were saying, 50ish penalty yards 1st quarter means likely 100 or more for the game! Maybe not but if so that's a killer every game. I'd say most will lose more than they win with that stat.

I'd say you lose nearly every  close game, scored once and they called it back, called a penalty on both, had the ball at the 10 ,off setting but in the trade ended up at the 12, they stopped us at the 2, do the math. The killing penalty came on their last drive ,was like 3rd and 10, hit a receiver that couldn't catch the ball, automatic 1st down. Then they were holding every play to keep us off the QB,its never got called.  Games like that just leave a bad taste in you're mouth.

Pretty sure they never stopped us on a drive all night without the aid of a penalty. We did fumble one time to turn it over. Without the fumble it was a 1st down on their side of the field.

Well, sounds like y'all were more dominant but all those mistakes gotta get cleaned up before you can be considered the better team unless they had as many as y'all. Don't sound like they did though. Probably be a hand full if y'all get that stuff squared away.

Yep thats all part of the game but its at least fixable.   Maybe I should say the team with the more potential.

Can't or won't fix that. Its a bad part of the game  in some circumstances. Legit stuff is just fine, people actually relocate for other reasons besides sports.

So how many transfers are ok? Are 5 to many? What if all 5 are scrubs and don't contribute? Maybe 1 impact player is ok but not 2? What if an impact player has a tragedy happen and is forced to move in with grandparents and change schools. Maybe a parent moves states for work, gotta go somewhere. When are transfers ok and when are they not? I guess I need some education on this from folks that obviously know more than I do about passing judgement on a situation with little to no factual information on the circumstances involved. I also don't have the facts on the circumstances so I'm just trying to figure out when I should or should not be appalled by a kid going to a different school.

Doubt you need any education, when stuff stinks, its usually rotten.
