FCDad
I’ve heard that if kids agree to play sports at Huntland, they don’t have to take Kermit’s class. Most kids would probably rather suffer through summer workouts and daily practices than have to listen to Reed’s terrible jokes for a class period for the entire year. thegreatwhite1
It’s all slow motion football in Southern middle Tennessee. Should have stuck w Carr and his staff w Reed and the gang a few years back...Would be no worse and most likely much better off. 5-5A is arguably the worst 5A region in the state and there are good middle school teams in some areas that would make the playoffs in Huntland’s region. Their region champ represented the west in Cookeville in 2017 and 2018. They currently have two teams ranked in the AP top 10 1A poll. It’s one of the most competitive 1A regions in the state.

My son played under Carr and Reed and i do love both those coaches but to say that 5-5A is the weakest region in the state is flawed, Summit, Shelbyville, and Page are all currently top 10 in the state in 5A! That is half the district currently in the top 10! The old 8AAA district would be the best option for all these teams in this area!
rebelboy121
Huntland and Franklin County both play in tough regions.
