I didn't say anything about LC winning a title. I said that I like LCs chances if that matchup occurs. Read between the so called lines all you want. No, I didn't miss the Westview game and yes I have seen more than one mustang game. Again if the matchup occurs I like LCs chances alot. Still alot of football to be played between now and then.

I didn’t say anything about you winning a title either. I say you already have falcons playing in cookeville.

There you stang people go again mentioning LC. LC living rent free in y'all's head. Nobody from LC drove anywhere to watch Huntingdon play but alot of the stang faithful drove to So. Fulton to watch the falcons. So, tell me again who is obsessed? Oh, this is message board and people comment on all kinds of threads so don't use that one.

Huntingdon has as good of a fan base as anyone in the state. You're liable to see us anywhere. We enjoy the game over here in Carroll Co

Yes, it is very odd for fans of high school football to go see games on nights when their team isn’t playing. Especially possible down the road matchups.

If Huntingdon chose to move up to 2A, would the TSSAA allow them? I just think they would be better off playing a 2A schedule than the big 1A region they currently play. Besides Milan and Camden (and only Milan in the past few years) they don't have a lot of competition until the playoffs. I haven't read this whole thread, but I think that hurts Huntingdon.

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
