Can't help but get excited the closer and closer we get to this game tomorrow night. Cornersville fans, be careful driving this way, dress warm and GOOD LUCK. Win or lose tomorrow, know that even though we pick on each other here on the T, it is all in good fun. We RESPECT the heck out of your program and we know that tomorrow, we will get your best ball game of the year out of your team! See ya'll tomorrow and GO MUSTANGS!

+1

Tons of respect!  Prayers for safe travels!

I believe it will be a lot closer than most people think. I look for it to be a defensive battle in the 1st Half with the Mustangs busting a couple of long ones in the 2nd half to widen the gap. As the previous Huntingdon poster mentioned earlier, you won’t find anything but RESPECT for frog bottom from Stang fans. It’s been 2 awesome battles in 2 years.

Dawgs - 10

Stangs - 35

I want nothing more than a Bulldog win Friday night but I'm not much of a trash talker and I tend to be more of a realist. If Cornersville can stay within 2 scores of Huntingdon this year I'd be happy. Nobody outside of Milan has done that this year. Huntingdon is loaded with senior talent just as we were last year. Cornersville will have their time in the next few years and like I said earlier, if those boys stay together it will be something special in the coming years. Much respect to the Stangs. I missed the game in 17 because my son was playing in the quarters for Marshall County.  The game last year was the best high school game I have ever watched. I would still say that even if Cornersville would have lost. It was just all around good football. Go Bulldogs!

I really am surprised the frog bottom hasn’t given this thread more attention,

what’s the score gonna be? Anyone? Either team?

I am not sure many of the frog bottom coach t poster are giving much of a chance to the bulldogs. Probably why it is so quiet, nobody wants to eat crow. I, on the other hand, am proud of these guys and what they have accomplished this season. That season opening loss to a terrible community team was hard to watch, but these guys have grown past that. The fire and intensity I saw last week against Collinwood spoke volumes to me. From warmups, to the end of the game was what I haven't seen much of this season. They need to bring the same fire and intensity this week. Players, coaches, managers, cheerleaders, fans, everybody. May post a prediction in the morning.

Sorry for the long post.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
