The projected match up for round 3 is here. Should be a good one with speed all over the team on both sides

They may have a little bit more speed.  But football speed is different than track speed.  We will bring the wood.  I hope KWC makes the trip down so he can see for himself what Peabody football is all about

Kwc just talks and post Informative links. He doesn’t travel outside of Memphis or watch football. Neither kwc or blackhavensenator know a single thing about Peabody. :roflol:

UC coach kicked off 7 starters one being their running back. Would have been a totally different game with those 7 starters playing. May still not have won but would have been a lot closer game.

The union city guys said they weren’t starters and I think they said it was 5 guys. Somebody said it was 20-6 at the half and union city dropped a touchdown pass right before half which would have made it 20-12 or possibly 14. Union city had lost its kicker to injury also and I don’t think fairley has a kicker they were going for 2

Whitehaven plays Houston and that's where I will be. The top two 6A programs in the Memphis area going at it in the QFs.  The number 1 offense in Shelby County vs the number 1 defense in Shelby County.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
