Round 2- AE @ Alcoa- quarterfinals

I'm gonna throw it on out there.  Alcoa-38 AE-7.  I think it will be interesting for about 1 1/2 quarters.  If AE had depth they would be a legitimate threat the last coupla years.  They have some athletes, just not enough of them.

Agree. Not sure how us GOONS did not get Foster and Ligons into some Maroon and Aluminum!

Because their family went to AE and they weren’t going anywhere else .... So GP was right y’all do be recruiting

Family don’t have anything to do with why they they went to AE. It’s rosters full of kids whose parents went to AE but they go else where. Alcoa doesn’t flat Out recruit but they do make sure they come to Knoxville to watch little league games.

Let me rephrase that ;   1 has an uncle that’s on staff and lives 2 minutes away from AE so he wasn’t going anywhere .  The other has parents that went to AE and lives a few blocks away from AE so with that said, why leave a school you’re zone for to go to another school ?  Sometimes it’s not always about winning !!!!

But hey you gotta do what you gotta do to win.   Good Luck with that .   AE don’t recruit !  There’s a lot of teams that take AE players every year .  Coach Philips and staff just coach the ones that want to be there .  They don’t beg them to stay but they do wish them the best of luck !  It’s Hard Being A Roadrunner
