I think everything is just so odd right now it dont feel like the season is really about to start.Plus no scrimmages and its hard to bring anything new to the table we havent already talked about.Im just praying we get to play

Rumor has it Jeff Minor not only Def. Coordinator but coaching O-line also. There's a small morsel of info.

I heard we lost a couple of coaches, know Mitchell didn't come back.

While it may interest some people, I would say many people aren't too interested in the offers that players self report on Twitter. Many of the offers are meaningless since colleges offer anyone who has a pulse this time of year before they actually decide later in the year who the "real" offers will go to. Obviously players like Tee Higgins are different, but you get my point. No one knows if you stink but if it bothers you to get yelled at then stay off other threads.

That interests me much more than the countless self reported scholarship offers. We have had several O-line coaches since Gaddis returned...hopefully this one will stick. I'm a "line watcher" and I expect the line to be better no matter who coaches them, but Miner does a good job with the defense, so I would expect him to be a good line coach.

I heard he is coaching at Jefferson, so that's a head scratcher. Maybe he and Gaddis had a falling out or maybe he doesn't want to put in the time that high school coaching requires.

1. I get your point but I will still post offers..

2. I am glad you are on the thread because you do address the lines a lot more than anybody else. I too like the lines but I tend to follow the football and forget we don't score if the lines don't block.

I have no problem with you posting the offers...I'm just responding to your point on not much discussion. That doesn't interest me much because in most cases I don't think it means very much...but it's better than no offer at all. I would MUCH rather talk about the team and the game with HVA. I hope that picks up more next week. I agree with whoever said with no scrimmages, we don't know much to discuss, because most of us can't get to practice.

Hey SweetScience, how good is HVA going to be? What do they return from last year? How will our kicking game be this year (it can't get worse than last year)? How will our secondary be (it can't get much worse either)? Will we have a decent offensive line (it's never very good)?
