The line is going to be the biggest test.  Need to find a great blocking and catching TE (Cooper) and need to replace Hubbard.  My guess is younger Hubbard will step up just fine (Cooper also). Maybe Powers will step it up as a receiver.  The Lewis kid too!

Plus we got 3 capable backs from 8th grade coming up.  We may struggle at times, but I feel if we give the ball the Kelly 20 times a game we shouldn’t have much problem.

The Cooper kid will be one of the fastest players in the State in any class. He has d1 size and is finally learning how to play football. Its up to him but he has the tools to really turn heads next year.

I was very impressed by Lake County yesterday. I see your team was almost all seniors. I’d be very surprised if Lake County repeats. Congrats again on a special season.

If Im not mistaken, this group of sophomores with young Puckett at qb only lost 1 game in 8th  grade year to Dyersburg.Played a lot bigger schools .And I think Purple touched on this earlier, have a middle school player that has some jets .May be the qb.I saw the middle school ,played bigger schools last year and the qb looks like he's going to be special.I'm sure he will play somewhere.Younger Puckett has 2 years to play but with Coach Puckett moving his oldest son from tight end to center, who knows.Afetr seeing younger Puckett run the ball in Tubbs place, could move him to running back and go with middle school qb. with 4 years left. But I look for Puckett to qb with Abbott being the qb and middle school qb as the backup and playing a lot

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
