IMG (FL) vs Maryville

Mater Dei (CA)  vs Alcoa

Northshore (Houston TX) vs Oakland

Katy (TX) vs Ensworth

Pearl-Cohn vs Hoover

Greater Atlanta Christian School vs McCallie

I wonder if Maryville and Alcoa scheduled the Tennessee Titans in Nashville if other high schools would finally stop with the...."They don't play anyone, they should schedule   ___________ school in __(fill in state)___________" .    Answer is no. They would still complain. I can hear them now. "Alcoa and Maryville still don't play good teams from other states" or "Well, the Titans have never won a Super bowl so the Tornadoes and Rebs are still avoiding competition." LOL

The state of TN might win one of those matchups (McCallie). The rest would be blowouts not in favor of the Volunteer State

Didnt Maryville get offered big bucks to play Hoover on ESPN a few years back and they declined? Maryville would get blasted by top tier schools from surrounding states, unfortunately

People said the same thing when Maryville moved up to 6A and when Alcoa played up a class in 3A. They've both done pretty well since then. But some folks like to throw out different teams. Private, out of state, colleges, etc. that they say neither could beat to try and take away what the kids and coaches have accomplished.

IFL helps people cope I guess.

I thought we scrimmaged them last year (2018). Maybe that was a JV game. or it could have been 2017, the preseason stuff runs together for me. If I'm wrong, my bad. Would still love to see them schedule Alcoa for some reason local 5A and 6A schools turn us down for games( except Maryville). Would make travel a lot easier

so you’re saying central, west, Powell and south Doyle were all contacted to play alcoa the last 2 years and said no? before you answer, im sure it was because Alcoa is a small school and they’re afraid of losing to them, right?

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
