FridayMainEvent
I've began looking at what teams have returning for next year. Any sleepers out there we should keep an eye on or should we expect the traditional powers to dominate again this season? Who's your top ten right now? Opinions? MLREB
It's not Maryville in 2020. I doubt those boys win a game...right @Starsandbars on a serious note....replacing 16 starters and a small upcoming senior class. That is typically not a good recipe for a very successful season. DBGRAD70
Define "Top 10". My definition is - the 10 teams that have the best shot at going all the way. So please, just leave Dobyns Bennett out. There is a zero chance that they will make the finals, much less win it.

My top ten would be teams expected to win their region and or make the quarterfinals.

D-B needs to skip all the way over Maryville and play some teams on the other side of the bracket. They aren't that far from the rest of the state. Maryville/Oakland are the problem in the east. Schedule a Region 5-8 team in 6A.
32hammer
Maryville is 1 until someone beats them. They have 1 tough game during the season and other than that will win every game by multiple TDs until semis. West side of the bracket has been out sored 121-28 in the championship game the last three years and some of the 28 was against 2s and 3s, so will not put much stock in those teams against Rebs or Ruth Co. Right now I would say Maryville Oakland Blaze Mt Juliet Riverdale Ravenwood Houston WH Brentwood DB Indians

4thq
MJ is losing some kids to Green Hills 4 or 5 starters and backups that will be a big hit for them.
MLREB
NoT good for MJ. What is the story with the Haven in 2020? I know of 3 difference makers they lost, but what do they have coming back? Does another team come out of the west?
