Where does UC go from here? Assistant on the staff? Mr. Outside Hire?

This year we haven't had anywhere near the head coaching vacancies we have had in the past.   Sometimes it takes one or two openings in the right place to cause a domino effect resulting in just that.    This could be one of those dominos.

Yup all this started with Goodpasture hiring Tyler Turner and snow balling from there

I say they hire from within.  The program structure and atmosphere that Bowling helped create isn’t broken, so no need to hire from the outside and change that.

I’m surprised but not surprised.  I’ve got the impression from a few that the athletes in the school weren’t wanting to play for him. The offense doesn’t really showcase but one or two players. The players that walks the halls that could be a good receiver and corner probably doesn’t want to be a tackling dummy. Those are just my thoughts

That offense showcases the whole team cause it takes everyone doing their job to make it work. But the kids don’t see it that way. So in that regard you are correct.

2 maybe 3 kids running the ball with one running it the majority of the time with everyone else blocking isn’t what kids want to do nowadays.  I think They had around 30 players and he kicked like 6 of them off the team right before they played fairley. I’m guessing with him leaving he wasn’t seeing anything coming up this year got an offer and snagged it up. I don’t see his offense working in 6a and not throwing the ball. Now if he adds some throwing in there it may work.
