Bullshark may be right.

Anyone have a scouting report on Clarkrange? Are they that much better than the rest, other than Greenfield?

They are much improved over last year. Their post has shown the ability to step out and make 3’s on a regular basis and can defend really well. Greenfield has the advantage on the block but Clarkrange has the twins!  Loretta is no joke either and the only game Pickett is lost are to Clarkrange so let’s hope they spread the brackets out evenly. Summertown is a top 4 team much better than 3 or 4 of the teams that are in the final 8.  East Tn teams are traditionally weaker but South Greene made us all believers so at this stage of the game anything is possible. Clarkrange has beaten Oneida 2 times and Pickett blew them out as well so if I’m picking a weakling of the bunch it would be them as the 8 seed followed by North Greene at 7.

Watch and see if  Clarkrange Greenfield and Loretto don’t end up in the same bracket!  You know two of them will let’s just hope all 3 don’t.

I guess the other 5 teams should just not show up. If those teams are already considered superior and champions above the rest.

They can show up for the experience, because we have 8 that have to play, but the gold ball Is going home with Greenfield.  Clarkrange and Loretto have an outside chance, but don’t bet a paycheck on it!  I got Greenfield unless Corona-virus hits Weakley County.

    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
    • He was pretty darn good for a freshman, but he will have a hard time seeing the field at Oakland for a good while, I’m afraid.
    • Dang I feel bad for the kid. I’m sure he loves his dad and wants to do anything for his dad but I don’t think he realizes his dad isn’t doing the best for his football career if he keeps jumping schools.
    • I’m not taking shots at the kid, but “athlete” is not something I would use to describe him. He was a long, lengthy, defensive back
