So what is out now is not official right?? Looks like Fyersburg is AA and Huntingdon as well.

thats what i heard and the link to the TSSAA website showing Dyersburg AA along with Huntington now

Have just been told cut off for AA is 702. Dyersburg is AA

AA Girls will be tough.  I would guess with Dyersburg in 2A that Dyersburg, Milan, Union City, Gibson County and Westview will be a district.  Not sure which district Huntingdon would go to.  I will take a guess and say Camden, Huntingdon, Waverly, Stewart Co., Hickman Co, East Hickman.  That leaves Bolivar, Adamsville, Madison, Scotts Hill, Riverside in another district.

The TSSAA has never had 4 classes and it is apparent looking at the schools Memphis needs three districts and push everyone district over one. There is plenty of room to fit all the districts in. Some metro schools will need to be bumped to district 8.

Start moving over 1 you move West TN into Middle TN and vice versa for Region, which will be terrible for fan travel and $$$$.Also mean you overload good teams and have a bunch of weak teams in a Region, therefore affecting State Tournament competition. Memphis has never had three districts and don’t need them now. If anything, they could put two or three in our district and we go play them. They don’t need three districts. Will be a logistics nightmare.

You are making zero sense. Guess what regions back in the day use to cross from middle to west, it will happens in football.

The reality is you don’t want the Memphis basketball competition because you know if they get an extra district they will be a tough out.

You have presented zero arguments that are valid on why 20% of AA teams should be in 2 districts when their will be districts with 4 teams.

I hope 1000 times we are playing in the Memphis Region. 80 miles away is better than 160. Don’t think you realize we are used to District 13 and 14 in West TN and District 15 and 16 in Memphis. District 11 and 12 crosses over into Middle TN. If Memphis has 14,15 and 16 means there is only 1 other district to play in West TN. The other district goes across the river for the region. Does that make sense to you now??

No because those are just numbers. They do not mean they have to go to certain sections of the state.

Memphis would get districts 14, 15, 16.

West TN 12 and 13

AA is West Heavy thus it needs more districts.

West TN 12 will be with Middle Tenn. 11 if Memphis has 3 districts.
