Oliver Springs would definitely be out.  Take out Fayetteville and drop Freedom Prep for now.  Move Huntingdon down. 

Fayetteville will have a chance to put up or shut up Friday night at Huntland. As a Fayetteville fan, I am concerned. Hope the young guys continue to improve and we can keep it close. This is just week 2 and people are guessing. Everything will even out by seasons end and the top 10 will be accurate leading into playoffs.

Greenback right now is most likely a 6-10 ranked team. End of regular season probably a top 5 team.

Wasnt so much impressed with the skill players of Gordonsville as i was their line. I believe their line is good enough to put them in the lower end of top 5 from what I saw from the Smith County game. Just my thoughts.

This one is interesting. Serious snub on Gordy. Oliver Springs could be the 2-3 seed in Region 2. I see them on the outside looking in, though. Top 15, but not Top 10.

Everyone else is in a tie until someone knocks off one of these teams. South Pitt has a  good team every year and deserve the number one spot.  This is not to say that other teams dont have good years or a couple good years. We all know that every year everyone is talking about South Pitt and what they got. If you're going to state, then you gotta face them sometime.

This is very interesting. 4 out of 6 teams from region 5 represented in this top 15 list. Huntland and Fayetteville and MC and Cornersville play Friday night. I would have Huntland and MC ahead of Fayetteville based off record alone right now.

Sonny Moore has So Pitt at 1, Lake Co at 2, Greenback at 3, and Gordonsville at 4.

Greenback is a top 10 team for sure. Top 5? Not right now no. Doesn't mean they wont be that come playoffs though.
