Sounds like the Oneida / Scott debate. Haven’t played in 40 years but folks are dead set against it because of when they did. SMDH also.

Your right. Its crazy to say let's turn down 30k+ in gate money because something happened 30yrs ago.  That would be a sell out crowd every year.  All your doing is hurting yourself

The issue with NJ is getting them to come to SP in the past.  If SP goes down there and play close or beats them, they won't come to SP.

There really does need to be a way to keep the SP-Jasper game going.  It is also complete bogosity that Jasper quit playing Whitwell.   I think the school board should mandate the 3 schools play each other.

Only if they play us here in SP the next two years. If we continue to play them and we have to go to Jasper next year I promise they want get my money.  Now if they want to send our program 20,000 I'd think about it, but there not going to do that.

Whitwell picked up Signal Mtn to replace the Jasper game.

Since they went to Whitwell - don't see why they would not do a Home / Home - going to SP first? If there is a worry about one bailing out - do a split gate at both.
