You love harping on Gville for whatever reason when they are no different than any other school in the state, including TC, except for maybe Metro. I know you had several players out for quarantine but was any players positive.

Seems to me, the directive from TSSAA can/and is interpreted very loosely. If you have a school with 377 and you have 80+ on quarantine, why would you want to take a chance and bring that exposure to any community? Coaches and school administrators are constantly being bashed on social media with regards to putting $$ ahead of health. Just my opinion, but it seems like everyone is in a danged if you do or danged if you don't situation. Bottom line, health should come before $$. Think about this. If a school quarantines thru contact tracing based on being in class with a positive, imagine how many kids/student athletes could be affected by one positive individual considering changing classes and having different students in a lot of classes. 80 quarantined students could be due to as few as one or two positive individuals due to contacts tracing. Schools don’t have time to view cameras and may not have cameras in every class to confirm who has been within 6ft for 10 minutes or longer. My nephew has been quarantined twice already for 14 days each time because he was in the same class as a positive case. To his knowledge he has not contracted Covid himself. Not all schools are contact tracing the same way. Some are overly conservative where others may be not so much. This is like playing Russian Roulette or pin the tail on the donkey. Kids who were truly exposed (in the halls, after school, etc) slip thru cracks while kids who were truly not exposed continue getting quarantined. On Friday nights you have a lot of players out who probably don’t need to be and some players playing, who have Covid, and don’t realize it and probably shouldn’t be playing.
