Powell @ Walker Valley 1st Round

This is a pretty interesting match up Walker Valley and Coach Akin is doing something that has not been done at Walker Valley in a while. I could see this game being a shootout. WV has a very good offense but so does Powell. Both teams have a pretty serviceable defense. Plus being at Walker Valley gives WV some benefit too. This game has a lot of potential

Just glad Powell gets to play someone outside Knoxville, cause region 3 5a is a brutal league.  Probably the best league in the state regardless of class.  So it will be interesting to see how they match up with another mid state team.

Have you seen WV play? They said on the radio that they have scored the most points in the region and have allowed fewest points allowed as well.  They are legit and have a ton of speed and have yet to see a team hit harder then them. Powell is definitely a tough draw for a 2 seed, but it will be a great game IMO and have watched film on both.

You will never make me believe that Region 4 is tougher than Region 3. Walker Valley has faced no one like Powell. Not saying they can’t win but they have not seen a team the likes of Powell. Should be a fun one.

It’s definitely not tougher. Walker Valley knows the challenge they have in front of them. I’m not sure Powell does though.

I think the end of the year woke Powell up. Again, should be a good game the way you describe it. Maybe WV can pull the upset like they did a few years ago in the 1st round against OR.

Go to YouTube and search    Walker Valley Football   .  They have last night's WVHS vs Soddy game on there. Powell fans can see WV play and OR can see Soddy Daisy play.
