That protocol may have been the list of contact traces you turn into dept of health after a pos case. No way tracing can be official until Monday when health dept opens. McMinn will turn in zero names but will be official with doh. Here's the issue I have. If Dept of Health can make a call on a Friday at 700pm. They should allow McMinn the op to turn in the official list of traces on Saturday! Alot of fishy stuff going on from all sides

It's the government. They really don't care. It's all a power trip for them. Covid is their drug.

Amen to that, they couldnt let a pandemic go to waste for one side getting what they wanted

It's making sense now. The whole team is quarantined until that official contact tracing document can be submitted on Monday. The timing sucked for McMinn and DB probably moves on as they accept the COVID win.

Holy Cow, we put a man on the Moon 51 years ago but we still have to wait until Monday to submit tracing documents that were ready to go on Friday.

I would have thought resources would be available to support contact tracing 7 days a week to ensure folks are notified timely.

You would think so. People are notified immediately but the schools have different protocols to follow. It's red tape and paperwork.

With the fudged enrollment numbers at West Ridge and now this controversy from the Health Department,  it’s not been a good week for the Government of Sullivan County

No one really has any idea how many will show up at West Ridge.  The school is located so badly that it would not be a surprise if 75% of the enrollment of one of the 3 high schools being consolidated elects to go elsewhere.  There are also over 300 Kingsport city residents currently going to the county schools that are being consolidated that could elect to go to Dobyns-Bennett if they wish.  The numbers might indeed be 5A, no way to know until the doors open.
