i Hope Maryville can sure up their front 7. idk how Oaklands runs the ball THIS YEAR but i know that they are usually athletic and physical AF up front. Maybe its different this year and idk if they have as good as OL as DB.  It was just a little odd seeing that from a Rebel Team

I’m betting that Oakland won’t run it on Maryville nearly as well as D-B did. Like many on here are saying, last night’s game was a good wake up call for Rebels plus Maryville has a great history of shutting down stud RB’s like James. Of course, every game is a new game so we will see.

Oakland might as well not show up.

Oakland runs the ball very well with two feature backs in Patterson and James.  If that doesn't work they throw it up to Horton and let him go get it.   Kid's a 6'4" junior with offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee and several others.

This game is usually a tight one and I  would suspect that Maryville won't have a meltdown like last time they came to the Boro but I  will give the edge to Oakland 28-25

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
