Nah, we're here.  It's interesting reading this "Official" Maryville/Oakland thread that is about 90% Maryville fans arguing with Dobbins Bennett fans. The other 'Unofficial" Maryville at Oakland

Yeah because Maryville just took my word for it and didn't watch game film. The rest of what you said doesn't even make sense. Get some help.

Really look forward to this game and wish all the semifinal games were  carried like the finals have been over the years on public tv.I can't think of anything during these trying times that the state

Oakland has a stout offense and is great in the kicking game. They have struggled defensively compared to the defensive prowess they have shown i the past. I look for Coach Creasey to grind this game out. They can pass and have the receiving core to do so, but a ball in the air creates opportunities for the other team, and I don't think he is going to risk it much. There is enough depth at the running back spot to cycle fresh legs in for the majority of the game.  I believe Maryville, like always, will be well coached , very  disciplined and ready for the game . Should be a great one. Because they are home , well rested,  and don't have any travel  I'll take the Patriots for the win , as the kicking game will be a difference maker and it comes down to a field goal either way.... Still love ole Pepvol, MLREB , RebelWoman87  and Starz  Good people...

You may want to amend your post.  The TSSAA is responsible for allocating tickets this year. They give so many to the home and away teams to sell, and  then they put the rest online for anyone to purchase.

Jetjock.... great to see you... been kinda quite year and change... Divorce will take the wind out of your sails, but I have been blessed to have some good folks in my corner and a great church to lean on and into. I would sure love to see you all before the game if you reckon we could all meet for a burger.... Be safe.. God bless..

FBE, the parents had the link to buy tickets on MONDAY.

If they didn't get one, it is because they didn't make it a priority.

They were made readily available, and Oakland shouldn't have to distribute them evenly...MHS didn't do that all year. Just ask Alcoee.

Stars isn’t this game at Oakland?  Did you take into account playing in a hostile environment several hours away from home and the time change??  Will be tough on the little fellers.

The TSSAA didn’t give any to the home or away teams. All tickets are sold digitally through gofan.

Hey Blaze! I hope to see you at the game! I’m stopping in Cookeville to eat but some of the others might be able to meet up with you.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
