This thread should be about state title game between Meigs and Peabody. Sadly McMinn fans must join in. But it’s ok the closest you’ll ever get to winning a gold or silver ball will be when you sneak into Meigs co Hs. It’s ok we’ll let you look but you can’t touch ours. And just like several other surrounding schools if you’re best players work real hard you can come watch our games. No worries we are always playing when your season is over. And today you can watch us on TV and hear OUR principal talk about Meigs County. Maybe you can just get another little friendly city sign but we’ll keep putting up signs acknowledging winners. But hey, We love our little sportsmanship neighbors.

Speaking of signs, the city if Trenton put these up all over town during the summer. IMO this is cool for the town to do for the previous champions.

I love that stuff,I travel alot of backroads on Motorcycle trips and love going thru the towns and seeing those type signs.

Peabody only plays highschool programs.  Alcoa would lose to some teams that recruit better.  There coach is awesome but given the talent he has, I could coach those guys and win.  If it were possible, Peabody and Milan and South Gibson combined would beat Alcoa year in and out with great weight program and awesome facilities And great coaching.  Just my opinion.  So don't get your panties in a word.
