10-0 huh?  That lead to what? 1st or 2nd round exit.  Same as Bledsoe. I would say good season but not a great season.

No the closest was the single A State Title game in 1973 a (31-26) loss to Dyer Co.

Correct!  It was one for the ages. Could have went either way.

Sequatchie has enough coaching talent in the pool to bring someone back to lead the program. They need a graduate to be the next coach. Coaches in Georiga , Florida , and in the state etc... Just my opinion.

Did they not advance to the state early 90’s with Fritts?

Quarters/final 8 in 88, 89, 90, 93. Ran into Alcoa, Kingston (lost in final minute), Gatlinburg Pittman, state champ Sweetwater. 8-2 in 92 but both were district losses and only two made the playoffs back then.

Those were some very good teams. I remember coming to Dunlap in '90 and losing an emotional 7-6 game. A lot of dad's leaving for the Gulf War from the Guard. Those were always hard fought games.
