I do agree. I've heard he is a great person and the kids love him as a coach.  I don't know him personally but I thought he would have gotten it.

Yes that could have been what hurt his chances at Scottsboro just a guess.  Will be interesting to see who they hire.

Bennefield at Fyffe is looking to move on after his son graduated. I'd think he would want out of state to get a double dip in retirement

That would be a homerun hire for sure but it would make more sense for him to go out of state and double dip in retirement.

I’m not sure his style of offense that he has ran for the past 10 years would fit in at SP. I’ve been wrong before

He's a heckuva coach. 313-53 with 5 state titles and 2 runner ups.
