Loretto is .500 against two awful teams and has given up 51 points in those 2 games. 

If Forrest loses to thsi team on their home field tonight there should be a fleet of uber drivers with empty suitcases waiting to escort this staff out of town. Period.

I hope it's obvious I haven't seen a clip of Loretto this year because I stated that in my post. As long as we play 4 quarter games I will evaluate the team's defense based on the points given up over the course of 4 quarters. Giving up 38 or 45 points in a high school game against Lawrence County is anything but solid.

Game is still a toss up. We've scored 20 against a solid 1A squad and a depleted JV version of Eagleville. Only hope is we were holding a secret plays for this game.

Head and shoulders above 2016 group. The 7th grade class may have even better skill guys. Middle school may not lose a game again until 2023.  It will be really good to be a Rocket in 2 seasons.

#1 - Cascade (2-0) visits #4 Mt. Pleasant (1-1) . Cascade defeated Cannon County 25-0. Mt. Pleasant defeated Scotts Hill 28-7. 

#2 - Loretto (1-1) visits  #3 Forrest (1-1) . Loretto lost a shootout 45-38 to Lawrence County in a big rivalry game. Forrest lost a defensive struggle to cross county rival Cornersville 16-6. Forrest won last seasons game 18-7 at Loretto. 

#6 - Richland (0-1) visits #5 Summertown (0-2) . Both teams were off last week with a bye week and a Covid forfeit.  

The fun thing about this region is the games should be competitive every single week. Lots of parity. No clear favorite in any of these matchups.

Finally, some action on this thread. I'll take Loretto, Cascade, and Richland in an upset tonight. I could go 0-3 as easily as 3-0 with these picks.

That group had Wild, Jones, Cunningham, Kritz, Clanton, Dyer, Nevison, Russell (he got hurt in jamboree i believe), and Rios, the best kicker Forrest has had in the last 15-20 seasons.

They went 22-4 as juniors and seniors with losses to then 4A Page (by 2 points), Marion 2x (state runner up both years and should have been champs- the cheating Trezevant was the only team to beat them) and a fluky wild game at Jackson County, which is second to only Huntland in middle earth attributes. Went to quarters as seniors. 

They beat in that span: 4A Page (2016), Watertown 2x, Tyner, Meigs, and Bledsoe, and also skunked an admittedly brand new Nolensville team in the jamboree. 

That's a bold claim. "Heads and shoulders"
