BarneySox2007
Both Alcoa and Elizabethton are crazy to risk only playing nine games as to not play each other.

This is what's a wrong with the world today, if it makes sense then we just go around it. My guess would be Elizabethton is the one who refuses to play or somebody makes enough money on nine games which I seriously doubt. I see four games on Alcoa's home schedule they might have to have a car wash the next day to help pay for the light bill from the night before. They may pop up and knock Maryville off since they play by the same rules Alcoa does taking in football players from every corner of the earth.

It sure is, most of our crop is home grown unlike Alcoa and Oakland. If you took the large percentage of players those two team import out of Nashville and Knoxville they would be average at best. Maryville's transfer in's are the national average among all schools across the country.

Powell has some big time athletes with D1 Offers and the Maryville fan (BarneySox) said they might pop up and beat Maryville since they recruit like Alcoa does (or play by the same rules as he put it).
