Game of the week in my opinion. Riverside looking good; Huntingdon always tough. Who do you like in this one?

Looking forward to making this trip. I think this is the 51st meeting between these 2 programs. Expecting an old fashion slugfest. Probably will come down to which teams plays the cleanest ballgame.

I expect this to be a good game. Riverside has had a strong team this year and the mustangs are really young. I would say Riverside is the early favorite in this one, but it will be a close game.

These teams used to be in the Volunteer Conference before TSSAA got involved with the region divisions. I can't remember all the teams but I think it was these two plus Camden, Lexington, McKenzie, Chester Co., and a couple of others. You H'don guys correct me if I'm wrong if any are old enough to remember.

Back then I believe Selmer, Savannah, Henderson were in Volununteer conference. Name changes came later. I think W Tn had Volunteer, Big 10, and Reelfoot Conferences.

What year did tssaa take over
