It was the first color 16mm film MHS ever filmed.  Coach Story showed the video in the auditorium to the whole school a week or so after the game.

I knew Cleveland made the final in 1970, but didn’t realize that they played Maryville. Was Benny Monroe on staff at Maryville then?

Oh, Lord, that’s a good one. I can’t answer without cheating and looking it up. Was any of Rankin’s 3 wins at Maryville? If not, I assume you would have to go back to 2000. I assume the 2001 regular season Morristown West loss was on the road.

Yes he was on staff. That game was played at Loudon High School.
