That’s only because they played Meigs tough and anybody with any sense should know that it would take the Tampa Bay Bucs to give Meigs a good game… heck they’ve got the best defense in three states!!!

Most people thought Tyner and Meigs would beat TC… along with most thinking H2O would get beat by both MC and TC, but thinking will get you in trouble…

Anything can happen. That's what I said. 

I have said all along H2O would be the tougher matchup for us because of their versatility on offense.  H2O has a senior QB who is pretty amazing also. A solid Defense to go along with a great offense. 

We was up on TC. Had two interceptions, got stopped on fourth down inside the five yard line then stopped on fourth down another couple times. Gave up huge run to start second half on first play. Like 60 yard run to to BC. 

No excuses TC was the better team.

Just saying let's see if H2O can get it done. 

Until they actually do,  I'm going with TC

Thinking hasn't got TC in trouble against H2O in the playoffs last 3 years

We are in 2021 right? H20 is 1-0 against this years jackets. Meigs 0-1 against 2021 jackets both games played in the last 3 weeks H20 went to the creek and beat down tc  ,meigs had home game and lost. . Meigs had a chance to be playing at home this week but got beat by a team H20 dominated 3 weeks ago. You have no arguement!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
