I did notice that the Knoxville paper used the word retirement, while Stewart used resignation. In the rush to get the story out who knows? Time will tell.

….Another error in the story was that he never had a losing season, unless she was just referring to Alcoa, which she didn’t make plain if she was. He went 0-10 his first season at Smith Co., 4-6 his first year at Riverdale.
