It’s a shame this is the topic week 1 for Marion. Worry about the games stop getting caught up with bickering with the old rival. I think Marion players will play with a chip on their shoulder Friday and put up big numbers in game 1. The new stud RB looked great at Finley. Kid could be a favorite for Mr Football by end of the season. I’m just keeping it real. Warriors by 50

Who’s the new stud Rb at Marion?

Marion running a new offense it’s going to take time. Might be awhile till they click

Y’all are bigger and faster than every team you play besides Tyner. Probably bigger than Tyner as well. You can talk it down to temper expectations but the talent is there to win now. Y’all lost last year due to running a bad offense. A new offense should instantly make Marion 4X the team I saw vs Meigs. I’m just keeping it real

Must be the kid from North Jackson because #1 wasn’t on the team last year unless he was hurt all year. He definitely helps. Marion has a few cats that can run. If they can get out of their own way they will give a Tyner a run for their money.

Condra? Pickett? Or someone new?

Only 2 SP posters really possessed the ability to consistently rattle my cage. One was definitely Roy Dillard. I stopped letting him rattle me by simply not responding to his posts. However, the more you read his ramblings the more you understood that he was just an avid fan who was doing what he could to keep the opposition stirred up.

Ole PG is smarter than y’all give him credit for. When the man that signs the  paychecks says put a lid on it, there’ll be no commenting. Week 1 begins tomorrow. Let’s play some football.

PG take a walk down memory lane with RD.  Theys only two reasons you put a lid on it.
#1 is you self admitted RD can rattle that cage and yous just dont want to chance getting that cage rattled.
#2 is that jar aint empty yet and it needs a lid on it.  If that jar was empty that durn thing wouldnt need a lid.  You think im joking but im not.

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
