This region will take a strong step forward, Milan if healthy can compete SGC has a new coach and they are pumped and playing hard! Crockett county will take leaps and bounds forward this year imho, I think we are in for a battle for 2 thru 4 , Haywood is a heavy favorite , I wonder how the Hornets will match up with the Tomcat’s this year as the old offense Have given The Tealented Tom Cats fits in the past , GL to all

I felt like Crockett was young last year. Do us all a favor and go soften up Haywood a little bi for us.

You know it's going to take a lot to soften up Haywood. They always play with a chip on their shoulder and this may be their best team under Coach Smith. They won't take anyone likely.

We was very young last year and a lot of the young talent have stepped up and worked there butts off to make adjustment and have gotten better, I’m anxious to see how Haywood is this year with new coach

Sorry, Coach Ward's old nemesis is still there for his fourth season.

I was thinking Haywood lost a coach to another school out of state

Other Tomcat fans can probably give you a better explanation, but assistant Coach Adron Rebstock did leave the HHS coaching staff.  From what I’ve been told, Coach Rebstock married in April and moved to his wife’s hometown at the end of last school year.  I’m sure former Lake Co. and Shelbyville head Coach Josh Puckett will pick up right where Coach A. Rebstock left off.  I hear Tomcat players really like Coach Puckett and they are doing a great job under his guidance.

Some other assistant coaches may have left as well, but I don't know any details if they did.  At any rate, Chris Smith is still Haywood's head coach.

  • Donovan Stewart of main street preps is projecting this region to be
    • Haywood
    • Milan
    • North Side
    • South Gibson
    • Crockett County
    • Obion County

Noted, Mr. Donovan. Respectfully, I disagree. I think Crockett takes a step forward, and NS takes a step back. I agree, Haywood is highly favored to win and I agree with that. It is hard to say much for Milan or SGC because they both have all new systems and coaches.
