I don't think some are figuring in that these are (consistently) the best teams Riverside have had in school history. Traditionally, RHS has been outmanned and out gunned by Lexington, and rightly so, as the size of the schools plus demographics reflect. But not so in recent years. I think the recent wins reflect the rise of the RHS program more than a decline in LHS. Don't panic LHS, Riverside could beat a lot of 4A schools.

Great looking Riverside squad. Very balanced offense w/ 2 good RB's. QB spins the ball pretty well. Panthers want to run the ball, #5 and #25 can tote the load. Defense runs well, very athletic bunch. Impressed with this Panther squad. Looking forward to yalls visit to Huntingdon.

If you add our fall scrimmages this team has went 5-0 vs 6-4A

hardin, southside,Chester, mcnairy and Lexington pretty impressive in my opinion

Impressive win. I tried to watch some of the 3rd quarter after our middle school game ended. Had to turn it off. Please keep those refs on that side of the river and far away from playoff games.

It was comical all night when your coach has to explain a rule to the referee and he pulls out the rule book to confirm what the coach was explaining to you.  you have a major problem .

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
