Who is your top 10 5A football teams in the state?

I would think Knox West is #1 at this point.       Here is something to consider, West has to play Alcoa and Maryville and it is probable they will lose both games, but let's say they run the table on the rest of the games.   Should that affect their 5A standing?     Or are these "polls" just a semi-biased coin-flip type of opinion anyway?

Here in Georgia, the #7 ranked 1A team lost 48-14 to the #2 ranked 2A team Friday and yet MOVED UP to #6 in this week’s poll.

Out of the west keep your eye on Henry County and Springfield

The polls are worthless.  The guys voting only see their local team and that's if they even go to a game.  They base it strictly on name recognition and their records, wins and losses.

Having Boone at number 10 seems a little low. 
 

They demolished Morristown West the #10 team in 5A last week. Also beat Elizabethton the week before that. Yes Elizabethton is somewhat down this year but still. 
 

They have given up 21 points over five games. But, in reality, it’s just a poll and the product on the field can do the talking.

Elizabethton is 1-3, about to be 1-4.  We may know how good Boone is when they play science Hill, but even that seems tough to tell for sure.

We have only given up 14 not 21, but your point is well taken
