Holy crap.  If mcewen beats south fulton, then south fulton beats gleason... who finishes where?   Would suck to be 5th.

2. Team with the greatest number of victories.

3. Team that plays the greatest number of teams that won 50 percent or more of their games.

4. Team that has the greatest number of wins over teams winning 50 percent or more of their games.

5. Team whose opponents have the most wins.

6. Team whose opponents have the fewest losses.

7. Coin flip.

In your scenario McEwen would get the 3 seed by virtue of overall wins at 6.

Then South Fulton 5-4*  would get the 4 seed by virtue of head to head over Gleason 5-5.

*South Fulton only 9 games.

Pretty good list on the west side. Still thinking MASE could be the stunner. I think they could easily reach the semi's

It's not impossible, but highly unlikely.

I hope they do. I like variety. They just don't look very impressive on film. Athleticism is off the charts, but their fundamentals and discipline are atrocious. They look better than LC on film. They do not look better than Peabody, and all roads end at City or McKenzie.

That is the usual knock on the Memphis teams. Going to be fun to see.

It wouldn’t be a huge stunner. They have more talent than anyone in 1-2A. How many schools combined to make this team? How many division 1 kids do they have?  It sounds like they are the new Trezevant of 1A.

unfortunately, all this talk about MASE is reminding me of the conversations about Fayetteville around 2020....

Fair enough valid point but still it wasn't any teams out there that year in 1a that could handle City in the west. That's not the case this year or even last year. MASE journey is drastically different with the caliber of teams the west has now. They have to beat ,Trenton, City and/or Mckenzie. City's path was a cake walk compared to that.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
