How about this moron.. show me where I said anything about a 6A offense.. my comment was stating how you're turning into just as big of a idiot as your son in Page..

my intial quote showed who made the post. i realize you are half an amygdala short of an 85 IQ but try to use all of your observational skills

Back to the game, fwiw, Masseyratings site just predicted 21-14 Lewis County…65/35 odds

Could be that close, but I don't see Cascade being able to move the ball consistently.. just my opinion.. looking forward to seeing them play..

Best chance in 1A or 2A for a #4 seed to pull an upset is this game.  Region 6 has two teams head and shoulders above everyone else in their region. Region 5 teams had more parity this year. Our 3 or 4 seeds could have beaten our 1 or 2 and even the non playoff teams had their moments against the top teams.

Both region champs are clearly running 6A style offenses in 2A. Why is no one questioning if it's even fair to do this?

Rang has done a great job with LC, proof that a 6a style offense can work in 2a

It’s the same offense that he ran at Dresden when they won the state championship. You have to have a trigger man to run it and he did a Dresden with Winn and he does at LC with McDonald.

Lewis County is 9-1 for a reason & deserves to be considered the favorite. But, I watched both teams play Summertown and there isn’t a talent advantage for Lewis Co-not in the slightest…Despite the fact that STown scored on Cascade and was shutout by Lewis, they actually moved the ball much better vs Lewis…

I like our chances but we have found a way to lose close games all season, whereas y’all know how to win…

ST did move the ball against LC. They actually ran a similar play that Wayne Co used to beat Loretto. A quick dive out of the split back veer. If the d tackle was in a 3 tech they ran in A gap if he was in a 1 tech the hit B gap. By doing this they kept the ball away from LC. They ran 56 plays for 130 total yds and LC only ran 40 plays for 307. LC adjusted and ST had 21 rushes for 36 yds in the 2nd half. I look for this game to be very close.

this is a legit topic. also what about lewis typically bad post season history. they've lost in the 1st  round multiple times. not the only thing, but a part of the story.

General, this year, this bracket is set up for LC to (surely) make it to RD three. But, everyone knows how LC is come playoff time so, new coach/new system, maybe they make it to the third round. Was Riverside really good this year or were they a product of their schedule?

In 2013 Lewis went to the 3A semis and lost to CPA. Impressive.

Since then, in 8 seasons, 1 in 3A and 7 in 2A, they have not gone past the 2nd round, and have lost 3x in the 1st round.

Personally, I love watching games there, I respect the overall consistency that Sharp achieved, and respect the program and fans in general

Still. Would I be hot that there have been zero even quarters in the last 8 seasons? Definitely.

History is against them and surely, by now, everyone knows that history. Is the top 10 ranking credible? Everyone knows Fayetteville is a juggernaut but was Riverside really that good?

so saying a 6a offense is what lewis is running is an acceptable comment- cool. low bar. cool

Just have to look past him General. He came out of retirement after 11 months; just like last year, to start his passionate rhetoric. A 45 year old man (or mother living through her son) trying to root on his old high school team. Reminds me of that party scene in Varsity Blues where the guy still goes to Friday night parties after games.

Salem, barring any upsets, this bracket should be interesting come round three. Surely LC can handle business this Friday. The next week should be just as easy against Richland. I mean, we are talking about Richland after all. Then they have either a rematch against Riverside or Mt. Pleasant. Better hope it’s Riverside if they have a desire for round four. If it’s Mt. Pleasant, we will know Riverside was a beneficiary of a fortous schedule and the season ending win against them was not really worth much.

In all reality, what decent 2A teams can’t beat Cascade and Richland; that’s if Richland beats Adamsville. If not, as bad as LC actually is season after season (but not on paper, hense paper champions), how difficult of a win is it against Adamsville in any given year?

Either way, you will have Riverside/Mt. Pleasant versus one of those west Tennessee teams. Don’t know much about them except Peabody is and has been terrible for several years now (except the gifted Covid season). Are those:Huntington/Westview/Fairly, etc teams good or are they over ranked too?

Of all the idiotic posts you've ever made, this may just take the top spot...it's painfully clear that you're hedging your LC rhetoric by questioning potential opponents should they keep advancing. Questioning Riverside, Huntingdon, and Westview would normally be the pinnacle of stupidity, but you've surpassed even that by singling out Peabody by name to call "terrible for several years" which is scientific proof that it's possible for a person to survive a complete decapitation.
