I feel confident that your rankings for D2 will be pretty close to spot on.  The only thing that could alter your rankings is if kids change weight classifications for the individual state tournament.

Hes got close losses but also some bad losses.

 

I agree he’s good and may place but don’t think he has any wins over anyone ranked.

He didn't beat Justice, it was Browning Trainer that beat Justice.  Luke actually beat Hicks by 1.  He did beat Jenkins at GP West, and lost to the best 195 in the state rn in Atwood 1-0.  But to your point, does have some bad losses, with the worst being the Vincent kid.  RankWrestlers has Hicks as 11, rn.  My only point is as an individual, I have seen him in person and he has wrestled tough in big matches and that would have me rank him above others, especially the Jenkins kids that he beat head to head.  So invididual perspective vs mathematical formula, I'm taking the second one.

5. Miller (his wins aren't as quality as the others above). Miller gets Jakob possibly tomorrow if they wrestle straight up.

He did place at Beast of the East and beat several good wrestlers. Beat Griere from Alabama at Indian Classic.

He beat Walker a few times over the years. I can see why someone would put him ahead, but also think until the previous Champ is beat, he remains #1. Should be a great match

Hasn’t wrestled much in TN but beat Gumlick pretty decisively at 120. If you want to see him beat TN kids just pay attention over the next month.

Agreed. Chase deserves number 1 being the returning champ. All that will work itself out very soon, but having anyone else ranked above Jakob in that weight is crazy.

It was actually freestyle but all points were from neutral

That is funny, I didn't notice the periods and assumed folk style since there wasn't any "freestyle" action, lol.
